Zero gun sales in middle TN

Three different gunshops have posted on Facebook that the instant background check system is down. Was yesterday too. Has to be frustrating. Perfect example of why you shouldn't wait to buy a gun until a disaster hits. I wouldn't put it past the Feds to intentionally shut the system down during a catastrophe. Fortunately with bad winter weather the crime rate probably drops! I could are issues if there were widespread long term power outages though.

Same as folks panic buying anything (855 5.56for example)

Doesn't the TBI do the checks there?

When I was there in 2004-2005 that was the case. Maybe a TN only problem.

You are probably right. That would make sense.
