I decided to class the joint up a little.
I still love my Glock 19, but a 1967 Commander 45 can't be hated.
Nicer than the one at our shop! Good for you.

love it.

How can you even mention a Glock in the same breath as that beauty!
I do dearly love the older Commanders. My first centerfire handgun was a 9mm LW of about the same vintage as that one, a gift from a favorite uncle.
I still have it, and we have been down many roads together.
Congratulations are in order - and just a little bit of envy!
The G19 is brilliant
Light, compact, and 18 rounds on board with +2 mag extensions.
Approx. 3 oz heavier than your Glock......
.........and far, far, far more pointable. Carries better and livelier in the hand to boot. Thor's Hammer, and you compare it to a plastic pistol? For shame!
Otony
That's a dandy!

The great thing about plastic pistols is A. that they work, B. that they shoot well and C. after awhile, they start looking like aftermarket car parts- so you just heat/bend/hammer/fill until you get what you want. That 'pointable' thing can be fixed ;). I'll just post a link because I can't bear to post a Grooock picher in the same thread with that beautiful old Commander.
