Long day pt 2......
I completed another commission knife this morning and decided I need to finish the zombie knife. It's a big son of a gun or should I say son of a knife??? Punchy I am, remember I said long day in the title
I had most of the work done on it, just needed some final touches...smooth out some sanding marks, polish some exposed steel around the Blue/Black micarta handles and give the whole thing a few passes across the buffing wheel. Turned out decent considering this is the longest knife I have made to date, took a lot of time to grind the long bevels with the blade being 8 inches long and 15 inches overall, it is thick .250" and heavy and should handle any zombie attack in the St Louis area.
And NO!!!!! I will not be using it on this year's annual hog hunt, I am too old with crappy knees to be messing around trying to stick a hog with a knife, that's why I have the 416 Ruger Alaskan.
