Army San Marco SAA question
I know the ASM replicas are a bit lower quality than the Ubertis, but in picking one up at a good price. The seller says the half cock notch is broken, so I figured the easiest route would be to replace the hammer itself. Numrich's shows them but are out of stock, none to be found on eBay either. I may check with VTI but I was wondering if anyone knew of they were able to us an Uberti part. I'm sure I could get most anything to fit with enough work, but I'm trying to keep it somewhat simple!
Thanks,
Doug K

It seems to me, and my memory might be faulty on this, but the parts are NOT sufficiently similar. Call VTI and get the correct part.

Army San Marco SAA - I have a pair of 7.5" I bought
years ago...they have given me fine service and both shoot to the same point of aim. I found the fit and finish to be fine whereas the Uberti 4.75" I have is not as nice. Get the correct part if you can.
Army San Marco SAA question
Well, I boight it! Too good of a deal To pass up even though I didn't need it! I haven't taken it apart yet, but it seems to function just fine to me. If I get a chance To hit the range this weekend to test my new M&P 10, .308, I'll be sure
To bring it along with some good ammo to try out!

Quick pic...
I'm having thoughts of chopping to to 'store keepers' length and maybe trying to birds head the rear grip
Strap! Probably should just leave it alone though!!
Army San Marco SAA question
What caliber is it?
Army San Marco SAA question
.45 Colt. I haven't taken any measurements on cylinder throats just yet. Action is smooth, some wear to CCH, but a decent looking revolver overall. I doubt it will replace my Rodeo or .45 Flat Top, though!
...won't replace..." no doubt" however SAA's clones
can be seductive. I passed up one of those Uberti 4 3/4" .45 Colt Bisleys a couple uears ago 350$ on clearance new. Seemed to be a nice tight well done gun. Still have 'auto-kick-pants' reflex when it crosses my mind.
