I've had my SR 1911 for 3 1/2 years, and really enjoy it, and I have a Shootists 30 th Anniversary model coming this Spring. But this Lightweight version? Gotta have one! Should be the cat's meow.

I want one!!

Granted, my Glock 30S is Officers-Model compact and holds 11 rounds, but I don't shoot it as well as a good 1911...

Oh. My.

OK, I'm a Colt guy. But I will be the first to admit that anything can be done better and it looks like THIS is definitely better!

Stonewalrus, no more excuses - git ye one of these, have Jeff Wolle put a sinister safety lever on it, and quit foolin' around wit' da plastic stuff.

In fact, if Ruger would concede to make this gun in .38 Super, I might even retire a couple of my Colts!

Thanks, Rob. I told Jeff I had to have it...
