We have the right to do many things in these United States of America. And now we find ourselves at odds with North Korea as if we weren't before. The hacking of Sony is called an Act of War. All this is discussion is fine & dandy but I have a question.

Is it correct to make a film depicting the assassination of a [any] sitting leader? God knows I'm not justifying North Korea's actions, I'm just asking a question concerning righteousness. And believe me I'm not any friend of Kim Jong-un or his father Kim Jong-un.

Technically we have never stopped being at war with North Korea. It would seem a place that can't even supply regular power to their populous and has had trade imbargos against it for as long as it has had would not be able to hack into the most advanced country in the worlds Internet so easily.

It is definitely in poor taste and they are dealing with a

Wacko dictator to boot. He had his uncle blown apart with anti-aircraft machine guns when he decided his uncle was some sort of threat.

When I saw the trailer I said to myself What were they thinking.
I think Hollywood is in a bubble and believe
they can do anything without consequence .

Call me cynical, but I think the entire hacking thing

and the threats against theaters is a big publicity stunt by Sony. They realized that it was a crappy movie that nobody was going to waste the $10/ticket to see so they cooked the entire thing up. Now when they release it this Summer-probably- people will be lined up to see it because of all the free press it has received.

Don't think so - there are government sponsored hackers

In North Korea, Iran, Russia and China. There are Syrian ones as well.

I wonder if the hacking hurt a normal person like all of us in any way?

Hollywood hates us and our guns anyway. So what if Sony execs and some actors are embarrassed. When I saw the trailer I couldn't believe Hollywood would make such movie before it actually happened. I think Hollywood believes they have immunity from fallout/retaliation as the world loves them so much.
