.38/45
Local reloading shop had a set of forming and reloading dies as well as a rechambered .38 super barrel in .38/45. I've always been a fan of the oddball, and have zero experience with this caliber. Price on the whole shebang is pretty reasonable, and it could be fun to play with. Does anyone have any experience with it? Any loading data? What kind of recoil spring should I belooking at for good functioning?
Thanks,
Doug K
I seem to remember a 22 lb recoil spring but don't
quote me. A quick google shows 14-20 lb springs. I think that depends on whether you are going for a soft shooting target gun or a barn-burner throwing .357 JHPs. There's data out there.
