Back in Sep 1980 I loaded a bunch of 38 Special: 5.5 gr Herco, Lyman 358477, RP cases, CCI SP primers. Been shooting a few of them over the years, down to my last 100 after this week. They always go bang and like to hang out together at the target.

Well I just ran a few hundred 477s the other day and I have been wondering what to do with the little bit of Herco I have left.

Just my luck they will perform as well as yours and I will be out of Herco.

yielded 915 fps from 6" Diamondback and Colt Model 357 Mag (pre-Python)in WW cases, GI cases yielded 950 fps. 1.462" OAL.
