Anyone try a Smith 69 yet?
I'm really getting interested in them, but have yet to see one in the flesh. Looks like it would make a great little revolver for everyday carry in the field. Has my favorite holster maker made any holsters for them yet?
Ive only handled one.
If I didn't own a Mountain Gun, I'd be saving to buy one.
Sadly the new guns just don't have the same feel as the older ones.
Anyone try a Smith 69 yet?
Looks interesting. The weight is 37.2 OZ which is good. My NM Blackhawk 45 is 38 OZ for comparison.
I think we've sold two. Neither have come back
to the store. One was bought by a bear hunter. They look to be of good quality although unremarkable.

Anyone try a Smith 69 yet?
My local pusher had a couple in his display case. I handled the gun but didn't purchase one (I am not in gun buying mode these days). If you like the fit of a 4 inch 686, I can't see why you wouldn't like the fit of this gun. I have wanted a 696 for some time until this came out.
It's not flashy but I sure do like the idea.
These folks seem to like it too : http://singleactions.proboards.com/thread/12309/model-69-frame-magnum-bbl
