Is absolute beauty! Beautiful platform, and an excellent performing cartridge. I hear Africa calling your name!

Dave

Thanks all.

The 9.3x62 has tickled something down deep in me for a while now; "Africa calling" for certain. Don't know if I'll ever get there but, like Dad once said, "I can hunt with these rifles here and dream of there."

Had it in my mind to get one built. Even bought an '06 in 1-A as a donor. Didn't find that particular "round-tuit" in time before Ruger introduced it this year. I'll see if we can find a whitetail this fall or a hog in the spring. I 'spect it'll work.

Guess I should have looked closer;-)

But are you sure it is not a bit light for deer? Might be just the ticket for Dik-Dik though.
