This could be good or bad. Upgrades by Ed Brown would make it a valuable gun, upgrades by the guy down on the corner might reduce the gun's value. This is something that would need to be inspected in person.

I am very happy with the new Ruger Commander size SR1911 I purchased a month ago, had to pay with credit card, but it was well worth it.
