Lost N Found: I traded gunleather for this old Colt a few
months ago. I loath ports but I figured I could drop a standard Commander barrel in it...
A Camp Verde Gunsmith did the work. light and handy smooth action. Over size mag release will get set aside, along with the ported barrel...
I traded for this about march, just before CSA...Brought it home and stashed it carefully...somewhere... Just found it in the back of a deep desk drawer...

AS TIME PASSES, AS IT DOES SO QUICKLY, YOU MAY FIND A REAL NEED FOR THAT PORTED BARREL.
I am HORRIBLE at stashing things and not bring able to find
Them for months or years.
This thing followed me home yesterday. My first gen u wine 45 acp.i like it that it is about as ambidextrous as you can get.
Sorta like rediscovering the beauty of...
The .357 Magnum after all these years chasing heavy .44 Magnum and 45 Colt loads...
I am glad to know I'm not the only one
who has stashed a fine gun and forgotten about it. Looks like a nice surprise to find hidden away, to me!
JT, As I was looking at this, last night , that very thought
occurred to me. My arthritic wrist and hands will be well served with this and some low flash loads.

looks like it was widened for a gold cup trigger. Thought I was the only one who did that. J.Michael
