Looking at a Browning BDA...

A friend offered me a blued one for $300 in supposed excellent condition with the original box. Have not seen it in a long time and don't know where it was made, but he rarely used it and it has been mostly kept in a drawer. Looks to be a decent price according to what I saw on the auction sites, but they don't seem to draw much interest. I would be picking it up to help him out with some quick cash, but will probably have to turn it around to get my money back, or use it for trade bait. Does this sound like a reasonable thing to do? Does anyone have experience with them? Is there anything I should look out for with them?

I've had a BDA for many years. Great gun, accurate enough and reliable. I would not sell mine for $300.

What caliber?

what they will retail for. It is a Beretta in all but name. Nice guns but large for a .380 today. Still, good for lots of people to actually use.
