I have the book," Hell I was there", boxed up for the move to the rancho de Bigbore but have read the work a number of times. In some strange way with his writings I can imagine myself at the scene.

Elmer Keith is a favorite gun writer and I have a hard time enjoying much of what passes as gun writing today. I can grab a cup of coffee and a Keith book and transport myself away from this concrete jungle for a time. I doubt there will ever be another like him.
