Opinion on magazines....
I am thinking of picking up a Kel-Tec Sub-2000 for around the house. I can get it set up for Glock 19 magazines or Beretta 92 magazines. I know that the Kel-Tec is available in other magazine set-ups, but the magazines are harder to find and are more expensive.
I don't own any of the guns that the Kel-Tec is set up for, so I will have to buy magazines for it in any case. For the guns mentioned, both magazines are about the same cost and are easily available. Does anyone have any opinion which one would be more reliable and/or last longer?
Personally I would go with Glock and load it...
with a 33-rounder. If you go with the Beretta type, you definitely want to stick with genuine Beretta magazines; the knockoffs (including some that Uncle Sam has bought over the years) can be problematic.
+1+ on what Capt.Cassill said.
Glock. Extra cap. availability and even more readily available than factory Beretta. Happy Sticks = Fun.
If you go Beretta: I have had good luck in my M-9 with Asian Military, but as cheap as the real thing is why bother.
Seconded

Yep, get a Glock 33 rounder, or 2 or 3 or....
The newer Beretta mags are good, but I've never seen a big one of those.
I'd go Glock
As has been said, the Happy Sticks are readily available and a lot of fun! I've had a several in the past few years and all have been good to go, both in 9 and .40. One rides in my truck as a constant companion and another lives in the closet as Jenny's house gun. Hers is 'pretty'ed up' some but still shoots well with my 9mm can on the end of it!
Thanks everyone.....
Looks like everyone is in agreement. That makes the decision easy.
Yep do the Glocks And a G17 or 19 is not a bad thing
to have around either...I cut down the grip on Jan's b .40 S&W Sub200 so that it will take the shorter mags from her g23 as well as all the longer magazines...
I have not cut down the 9mm Sub 200 yet because we have many many 17 and 33 round mags for it.
