Indeed a rare bird. Notice also, there is no thumb safety

Neat to see the development of the classic.

Notice that this pistol, which maybe never left the Browning factory, has an "idiot scratch" on the side under the slide lock. Maybe put there by the master himself?

If JMB didn't worry about scratching the frame of his guns, I ain't gonna get my panties in a wad about the marks on some of mine.
