Thinking of buying a Bisley Grip Frame for my Super Blackhawk. What other parts are necessary? I know it needs a new hammer and grip panels, is there anything else?

I *think* that's it. Been a little while since I've done one.

Oh yeah, one other thing: pictures.

Thanks, didn't even think about the trigger.

I know they are different.

It might be possible to mix-n-match but the Bisley sits back in the guard a little more and looks nicer to me.

If your SBH has the square backed trigger guard, I'd be interested in buying your take-offarts.

I'm interested in "your take off parts", not "your take of farts."

Josh, there is a edit feature...

Yeah, but it's more fun to leave as-is!

Josh,
I will likely hold onto the old grip frame incase I decide I don't care for the Bisley, but if I do get rid of it I will give you a shout. That old grip frame is absent bluing on the backstrap and is dinged up pretty good, that sixgun has seen some mileage. I snagged it for $200 with an new Uncle Mike's shoulder rig and 1 3/5 boxes of cartridges, one of the guys I worked with in Alaska bought it, shot it 10 times, said he couldn't hit water from a boat with it, and just wanted to unload it, it barely had the beginnings of a turn line.

Until I purchased my Super Redhawk 454, I shot the 44 SBH, A LOT! It was extremely accurate with 270gr Speer Gold Dots, and 320gr cast, I sure beheaded a bunch of snowshoe hares with it until I picked up the 454.
