Thx Rob
Orson was ringing steel with the shorty .44. He started with the Skeeter load, graduated to standard magnums, and finished with a magazine full o' Hornady 300 gr. He was pleased, to say the least.
Sumner preferred the Browning 92. I didn't bring any heavies for that one, but he was content nailing the targets.
They also enjoyed "dueling" with the kit guns. I think they were overwhelmed by the Dash-Cat, but we'll get them over that in short order.
Thx again to all involved.

Is that his regular home in AR or was he retired from the B-58 base when it was there ???
BJ's "recoil junkie" Daughter Carlin?
Rob, please elaborate on that.
Shen can handle the baddest recoiling lightwieght revolvers
Like she learned from John Linebaugh himself...I watched her several times shoot heavy sixgun loads , accurately, with nary a flinch...

Carlyn was shooting whatever big stuff...
various sadistic, err, I mean kind souls were handing her. .454 Casull, my .500 Linebaugh Redhawk, and a .500 Maximum from Jeremy Watts, among others. And shooting really well with them, to boot.
Great young woman. Good head on her shoulders,
hard working, focused, and compassionate.
Every time I turned around, she was shooting something different... and always well.
I keep telling my son Matthew he needs to pay more attention
To her...
She is a crack shot with rifle and pistol
Having spent a fair bit of time wth her Dad at these things, it's clear the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
Thank you....
A bunch of very nice images. Looks like fun was had by all and the weather cooperated nicely.
Precisely, so to speak.
..
I've already advised 25 yoa Nephew Drew of her.
Let's just say he was not disinterested. He would have been there if not for conflicting schedules between Halliburton and the LA Natl. Guard.
I told them that they should bring
Her boyfriend along some year to meet the crew. Not sure BJ thought that was a good idea...

Sure wanted to be there. Work got in the way. Miss y'all.
I was wondering where you were!
