Price Check, S&W 625-4
Going to put my "Model of 1989", 45acp, 5" barrelled 625-4 on the table at the gunshow this weekend. I am woefully out of the loop on current N frame prices. What would be a reasonable asking price? It is in excellent condition, no lock or MIM parts, and has the original plastic box.
$800 if you want to move it fast
$1000 and it still might move. A dealer bought mine for $850 a couple shows ago. Mine had the original factory wooden combat stocks, which adds some value compared to later guns with the rubber stocks, but these are desirable guns either way.
Or, sell it to one of us
and keep it in the family. :)
Or, sell it to one of us...Got a picture?

Will try to get one this evening.

One of those was the first NIB gun I ever bought.
I'd be interested. I sold that one before the first move out of AK and have always wanted another.

So the one I missed out on for $495 was a good deal?
Yes, that's a rhetorical question and YES, I'm still upset about missing out on it!!
Bummer for you!
It is amazing what the .45 N-frames have done in recent years. They have gone from being unwanted step-children to the belle of the ball. Wish I'd kept the ones I got rid of!
