I have a gun with a heavy varmint taper. I am interested in shedding some weight from it and using it as a walking coyote gun. Does anyone know who will flute it with the action attached? J.Michael

Hard to index with action attached. One that would flute would probably unscrew bbl You won't shed much weight fluting, drill mag side walls, bolt knob, reduce bbl taper stock weight, Check scope weight. My most accurate coyote rifle weighed 13 lbs walked many a mile with it. rode in truck many more. An A.I. 308, would put 3 shots in a 1/2" at 500 yds.
