We had a show in H'burg of which Clint reminded me. I went. Seems as though everyone had a Remington Model 8 or 81 for sale but none would deal. Saw one .38/200 Webley upon which we had a recent report from the family and it was asking $550. It is STILL there. Asking price on a Contender frame (and ONLY the frame) was $395. It is still there, too. There was some other stuff including some sort of chiropractor/healer (seriously) doing his thing as well as the now usual jerky and jewelry dealers. Those are the highlights such as they were.

Went to one last weekend. Almost came home with a Ruger MK3 with the lightweight, threaded upper. I've got a cut down, threaded MKII so I resisted. I did come home with a Boker Kalashnikov automatic. They've been legal since last July and I finally picked one up!

No screaming deals for sure...
