It's been a rough couple of weeks...
we lost a young man today to a combination of health issues. The latest in the list was pancreatic cancer which didn't have time to do it's full measure of pain and agony to him before his body gave up the fight. Now to help his mother, brother and brother's family work through the aftermath. Anyway, you might keep Marco Tulio Hernandez' family in your prayers for a while. He was their favorite (only) uncle and will be greatly missed. We've known him for almost 20 years, hard to realize he's no longer with us - and much harder for his loved ones.
Certainly
I lost my grandmother to the same illness. Prayers going up.
You've got it Paul.
We lost a good friend this past summer to the same. Five days after I found out he was sick, he was gone. I still shake my head.
Paryers said!

Thanks, guys.
We hit the sack last night (this morning?) about 1:00 or so. His nieces took his passing very hard and we spent quite a bit of time letting them cry it out of their system a bit and also helping get papers together for the release of the body to the mortuary and getting things in order for today's funeral. Things went smoother than I expected and his mother took it better for the most part than anyone thought she would. Funerals are for those who are left behind, and they expressed appreciation for what we were able to do for them. We don't have that many non-roman funerals around here so it was an opportunity for many to see a very different experience from the typical hysteria ridden graveside down here.
Now I'm rambling - it's time to hit the sack.
Thanks again for watching our backs.
