It's good to be back, although my fears were realized on
this trip...
Yours truly got stuck with the presidency of our national association of churches - as if we weren't busy enough as it was. The coming couple/four years will be interesting, to say the least. This is the first time they've had a third culture president in the association so perhaps the different perspective that brings to the table will be good for all concerned, or make them happy to go back to purely national leadership at that level when the time comes. On the positive side, there will be plenty of opportunities to see other parts of the country than we usually visit, and the XL 200 will get more travel time than it has in the past couple of years.
Now to try and catch up a huge backlog in the office before tackling the first stuff on the new "to do" list.
Congratulations?
Regardless, I'd see it as an honor. Do try and stop by when you can.
Wishing you all the luck and support for your new role.
Thanks. :)
I'll definitely be around, this is my point of contact with sanity at times. Only time will tell how this will pan out. On one hand I dread it, on the other hand it'll be a chance to help out some of our preachers by offering them a different perspective and plenty of encouragement. Will probably have to upgrade my cellphone calling plan...

An honor and great way to serve the spread of the gospel. God speed.
