Jason, I made my CSA room reservations yesterday...
...looks like me 'n' Butch, and maybe Jimmy Wood.

Be good to see ya' Boge. I too, made mine yesterday. I figure Mr. Wallace will be along with me as usual.
That reminds me, I gotta call and tell him what day he needs to put in for to be off on Friday.

Good.
It would really be good to see Jimmy Wood. Been awhile.
Not that it would not be good to see Boge and Butch. It is just that I have seen them this past year.
Made mine this morning with the Missouri Kid (Matthew)

Hey Tom...
What would Matthew like to shoot this trip?
Hard telling - I'll have to ask

Tom, I'm presuming you are going to bring your new S&W 642? I'd like to work with that little thing some and see how I like it. I'm getting a hankerin' for one myself. Since I gave Ruth my next-to-last 2" Model 36, I'm feelin' deprived.
I'll throw in a 432.
You can give that a workout as well.
It surprised me how much "snap" it had.
Never leave home without it
He asked if you had anything buffalo rifle-ish
Sharps, rolling block or such type "old timey" gun.
Thanks, Hoot
Most of the alloy-framed Js that I have fired are unpleasant with +P. I'd really like to find a steel-framed Centennial since I'm used to carrying a 36 and don't mind the few extra ounces, but apparently they are no longer in production.
Hmmm...how's about a 54 caliber paper cartridge Sharps?
Have to see what I have rolled for that.
Other than that, there's the H&R Topper which is now a .45-70...semi-old-timey and "buffalo capable".
There's several others I wouldn't hesitate to take after buff's. Have to see what Dad's got squirreled away.
Edited to add: "Old-timey" will be represented pretty well regardless.
This-un's a .32 H&R
Alloy, yes. Snappy, yes.

THAT would be impressive. The H&R would work too.
