I agree scopes generally don't belong on lever guns, but....
this is a special case.....i may get to go hog hunting with a friend, and he says night is the best time for hunting them, and so i took my new 1873 SRC in 44 magnum, and well.........just see for yourself:
it is a vintage setup since this is one of the early, vintage Zeiss night vision scopes...... i am so tickled
but go ahead and tell me what you think.......
wonder if the SASS cowboy action guys would allow for a night time shootout scenario??
I agree scopes don't belong on lever guns, ugg....
nm
I don't think the '73 action is really strong enough
..to hold that sucker up.
I don't think the '73 action is really strong enough
yes, you are right i suspect.
and ejection would be a problem .....
: ) i just propped the gun up next to the scope [ it is resting on a pack of chewing gum to hold it level ]
just feeling devilish and seeing the reaction
I figured you had a Ciener Dust Cover mount. Sent hima check
last year for mine...

Of the Troops & For the Troops
good idea
With MO's antler point crap, that's the new 'traditional'...
deer rifle. Count points in the dark and shoot at dawn ;)
What? No Quad Rail?
LOL
Yeah, how are you going to mount your IR illuminator?
.
No, verticle foregrip?
The other guys down at the mall will just laugh.

I agree scopes generally don't belong on lever guns, but....

I agree scopes generally don't belong on lever guns, but....
That is just so wrong, on so many levels.......
I agree scopes generally don't belong on lever guns, but....
Go ahead and put a screw in the bottom of the lever to trip the trigger when you close it. Them hawgs take some fast shootin' when they come at ya in the dark.
