This Six is Speedy
Stumbled upon this today at a shop I rarely visit because they are mostly blacktical stuff. Pre-warning 4 inch Speed Six. Neat.
This Six is Speedy
Great guns and they can be super tuned to be the best that they could be.

I wish Ruger still made these. I like Six series much better than the GP-100.
I sold a bunch of Service Sixs in the early 80's
I should have kept one....or three.
ME TOO!!!

Very nice! Is it a .357 or 38 Special only? They made them
in 9mm too, didn't they?
If I could have bought a 9mm for what I paid for this,
I'd be intolerable. It's a .357. By the way Ray, have you seen what S&W 547s sell for these days?
If I could have bought a 9mm for what I paid for this,
still carry my 1970's vintage with a 6" barrel; action has been tuned a bit, Wolf springs, etc. Range Office at my club keeps trying to buy it!
Ooooo! An early Six! Likely 150-xxxx s/n
I asked myself what that 547 could do that a Model 10 could
not. Since I couldn't come up with anything, I sold it a couple weeks after I bought it from you for 5 bucks more than I paid. How was I supposed to know that the one thing it would be able to do that a Model 10 couldn't was sell for $700 or $800 eight years later?

I'll pass on the "stags", but thanks for the offer.
One of the best revolvers ever!

Same reasoning with my 696.
"It's not THAT much smaller than my mountain gun".
And a year after I let it go they tripled in price. Doh!
Ooooo! An early Six! Likely 150-xxxx s/n
The 150 series had an oddball grip frame. Aftermarket grips for that series is practically nill.
Been there done that. But with that adapter you don't need no aftermarkets

I've always wanted one but have yet to run across one at the right price. Of course the right price now is considerably higher than it used to be!

Those are super.
