Duplicate serial number OM S-Six for listed for sale.
J&G Sales has this one listed. The serial is a D500xxx, which puts it in the Super Single serial numbers, but it is a standard Single Six. Thought a collector might like to know.

We had a Single-Six come into the shop for
cleaning in a box marked Super Single-Six but the gun is not so marked. Since I just read this post and am too lazy to go into the other room to check my reference(s) may I ask, isn't it normal for the Super Single-Six to be so marked on the gun?

I may be mistaken but..
I don't believe so. I thought the Super Single Six had adjustable sights but identical markings.
You're correct.
The Super Single-Six has adjustable rear sight and only the box carries the "Super" nomenclature.
And apparently that one has sold.
:)
Thank you both.
