about the size of a colt diamondback; stainless; chambered for 32 S&W long:
i dont think i had ever seen one, or even remembered it being made. i think it is well over 20 years old, and appears to be new in the box with all papers, etc. nice trigger and i hope it shoots well.
No I haven't

....they also made a version that pretty well mimicked a Detective Special.
When I visited the Uberti factory in 1972 there were crates and crates of "parts" addressed to Colt in Hartford. Ostensibly these were for the reintroduction of the blackpowder Colts, and finished in the USA, but it did make me pause and wonder if Colt was buying other parts as well. When my tour guide saw me staring at the crates being packed he hustled me out of the area pretty darn quick! Of course at that point not too many folks knew Colt was buying those parts.
I'm also reminded of a story related to me by a good friend, Mike Dickerson. He was an officer and armorer for our local PD, and had been sent to Springfield, MA to take some lessons at the S&W plant. There he saw 1911 barrels being made on a contract for...ta-da.....Colt. Mind you this was in the late 1960s or early 1970s.
Point is Colt obviously has no aversion to outsourcing. Heck, they didn't even fit and finish those 2nd Gen blackpowder revolvers, those were made in New Joisy! That neat little gun might be more (or less) Colt than we realize......

had a Smiff barrel, as did my personal 1911, both were marked, as I disremember, as National Match, both came from stocks at Rainier Army Depot.
