FS Colt Python

This sixgun is not mine, it belongs to a friend who is not really a gun guy, and wanted me to help him sell it.

S/N dates to 1979, he figures it has not more than 200 rounds fired since he bought it new. It's pretty much pristine, comes with the original walnut grips and the Pachys shown, no box or papers. He is hoping to get $2000 for it, but would probably take somewhat less. Any interest, email me at boge@gunblast.com and I'll put y'all in touch.

Scary Sometimes

I ran across a Colt catalog from 1970. MSRP on the Python was $125 as was the SAA.

Scarier still

A good customer, good friend, and fine feller, has been a dentist for decades. Back in the 70s as a dentist, he made good money, and he loved gun shows. He bought NIB and LNIB Pythons because he liked them, and never gave anywhere near $200 for them. Over the years, the number that sticks in my head is 35, and he still has them all, not to mention several thousand other assorted goodies. We call him "The Black Hole".
