A Pittance of Time

Thank you to all who have served our nation.

Paul, you, and everyone else in this great nation, are most welcome for my pittance of time in the service. I did my time, did what they told me for the most part, didn't volunteer for anything except the battalion pistol team (which got me in trouble with my CO)and was glad to get out. I wouldn't take a million dollars for the experience, and wouldn't give a dime to do it again. In comparison to the men and women who serve today, the things they have to face, and the sacrifices they are called upon to make to serve the rest of us, mine don't even hardly count.

In my opinion, those brave men and women are being badly misused by the country's current leaders, but that detracts not a whit from the honor due them. God Bless them all!
