Internet rumor (they're always true right?) is that Ruger is no longer cataloging the Redhawk.
That's amazing. When did that happen? They are not listed
on Ruger's website either? Temporary maybe?

Only the Super Redhawks are listed. If'n it was a .44 I would have snapped it up.

I have long wanted a blued, 5-inch Redhawk in .357 Magnum, but as nearly as I can tell, no such critter ever exited the Ruger factory. I'd settle for one in stainless, but I've not seen one advertised, even on line, for quite some time. That being said, a 4-inch Redhawk in .45 Colt would be a great sidearm for bear country when loaded with a heavy bullet over an appropriate charge of slow burning powder.
