After several days I got an answer in not very good English, telling me that as soon as I sent my money, the rifle in question would be packaged and sent to me. What happened was that someone, maybe from a foreign country, took a picture and description from gunbroker, and posted it as their own rifle in expectation of getting some poor sap's money. I can look on it right now and see other ads about "guns for sale somewhere in Alaska" posted by the same type of crooks.
