$200.00 Included was a full 525rounds of Remington JHPs...

I had one of the Charter Arms versions... it would occasionally go full auto...

I have heard that these Henry versions were more reliable. I like that they now have the 3 magazines stowed inside the but stock.

Yeah, I probably let Mel Tappen's articles influence me a bit too much.
Savage combo guns, 10/22s, Survival rifles G-3s etc...

My son loves his. I wasn't thrilled with the sights -

Pretty coarse. Me being a lefty the action being offset in the stock was a little. Annoying. Matthew's will shoot anything. Doesn't seem to be particular.

I replaces
matts and my gun with fiber optic front sights from brownells,
I highly recommend this.

I bought one a while back to stow in the truck

Like you I had a Charter Arms version years back, but the Henry is head and shoulders above that clunker. My Henry has been very reliable. Trigger took a little work to get down to a reasonable weight, but it's a simple design and easy to work on... Nice to be able to have 3 loaded magazines stowed in the stock. Overall, I'm very pleased with mine...... :-)
