Last Friday, as I was out to the gravel pit we held the TSMS in, I received the phone call from my doctor about my Cancer diagnosis as I was loading the first magazine from my new aquisition. I picked up a NIB Ruger P95 9mm Luger.

I got a great deal on it, good enough in fact that I couldn't pass it by.
The results? It shoots high to the stock sights, this is using a handload of 124gr. Speer Gold Dots over a near max load of HS-6.
I don't have any 115gr. loaded and no factory ammunition to try, so I'm not certain if I want to put a higher front sight on it or find a load that shoots to the sights.

Early this year I picked up an H&K USP-9 with 7 mags. It has the DAO LEM trigger group and an LEM mag funnel.

Shooting this and the Ruger P95 next to each other, with the H&K holding a slight edge in accuracy and POI, but both shot well.
Kentucky Windage with the Ruger allowed me to shoot the heck out of stones in the dirt piles they dumped in the range area.

Overall, I like the P95, the only thing other than sight regulation that could use some attention is the trigger. It's a little mushy and vague at sear break. We'll see if there is anything that will help. Of course shooting it a lot might help too!

Use seems to smooth up a trigger pull. So the Ruger compared well with the H&K.
