Anyone have a steel, Ruger gripframe they want to part with?
A buddy is looking for one. This would be for a New Model like the first series Vaquero or maybe the Old Army too? Blued steel.
Thanks!

Hoot,
New Model and Old Army grip frames differ in their trigger spring designs.
New Models use the "long legged" trigger spring whereas the Old Army uses the "Old Model" style
with a spring and plunger tucked in a "bored hole" in the grip frame just behind the trigger.

I have a brand new Super B grip frame.
If that will work for him let me know.
Thanks Carl! That's what I thought I remembered.
But then I recalled I'm down a few brain cells from original issue.
I will ask. Blued or in-the-white?
Thanks!

Its blued. I had an old Super B with Bisley grip frame on it kaboom a few years back. Ruger gave me a new Super B and returned all the Bisley parts. I immediately put all the Bisley parts on the revolver so this thing is really brand new in condition.
