Dual cylinder Ruger Bearcat

by The Alsatian @, Thursday, September 19, 2013, 16:15 (4076 days ago)

I have one of these guns sitting unturned in the box with both the .22 and .22 mag cylinders. I don't think I will ever get around to shooting it. Probably should go to someone who collects the things.

Does anyone know someone who might be interested?

Thanks!

I'm not even real sure what it is worth.

Brother, I would LOVE to have one of those...

...but collector types value them at we'll over a grand, so I don't have one. I would be more than interested at a sane figure.

Boge, I would give it to you if I could.

I know you would, brother, and I do appreciate that...

...but I couldn't do that either.

It's a crazy world, a guy can get a Bowen perfected dual cylinder conversion with adjustable sights for what those bring.

Matt or Jack Or Steve will be along shortly to

Good to see your handle again Sir.

The last one I saw was a few years back. Essentially NIB and the asking was $1800. I should also mention this was the ONLY one I've ever seen. I have not kept up with values since I figured out my pockets weren't deep enough to be a real collector and that I only wanted to shoot the darned things anyway.

Thank you. I wonder if he got that kind of money for it? Some folks ask for things that simply are not reasonable.

I don't really know.

I do know he didn't get it from me!

Great gun, Scott...

I am not in the market for one at the moment but I think a fair price, in today's market, is probably in the $1500 range or so. They are very few and far between.

Hope this helps,

Matt/PA
