I put this prescott made SR1911 together in memory of a good man and his 19 brothers. 20 men walked up a mountain, one came down. Pray for them all.
I am going to have Scott Norris's name engraved on this Commander.

That is a beautiful tribute, Rob. Did you have those grips made up with the medallion?
Wouldn't it be nifty if Ruger would make up 19 guns like that, each with the name of one of the Hotshots who made the ultimate sacrifice, and auctioned them off with the money going to the families?

facility, donated this SR1911 the next day. We raised over 14,000 dollars at Bucky O'Neill Guns with a raffle for this gun alone. Several other customers donated Sr1911s a Bushmaster lower, a complete Wyndham AR, a G19 a NIB Ed Brown Exotic holsters custom challenge coins 20 sets of these grips were made by a retired stock maker and donated etc. I am not sure of the combined totals raised but it was 100 percent passed through to the families of the Hotshots. Simply Rugged Holsters donated towards this and one of our employees won a SR1911 as well. I am going to have "Scott Norris" engraved on this pistol.
