Cimarron Lightening .38

A guy on a local board has one of these for sale. I always thought the smaller framed SAA would be a cool little pocket pistol for woods bumming and while bird hunting. It shows some use and wear but looks solid from the pics. He's supposed to bring it by tonight so I can take a good look at it. It has the longer 5 1/2" barrel but if I. Like it, it should be easy enough to shorten up. I'm not sure what the grips are on it. They are white-ish but look to have some grain so I'm not sure if they are some fancy polymer or maybe ash or holly wood? If I end up with it, I'll put up some pictures.
