.22 cylinder ID help?
I came across some cylinders in my travels today, and these 4 are eluding my smarts.
The 3 on the right are identical, except one has an "M" stamped on the face. They aren't Ruger, just a tiny bit longer and the star is a bit smaller. The one on the left is unfluted, marked .22 WMRF, and has a tiny star.
Found the one on the left, it's an H&R
The other 3 are still unknown.
Can't say with certainty...
but they do not look to be Rugers. The Single Six has "squarer" ratchet teeth. I do not own a Colt but I seem to remember the teeth on the Colt were more "swoopy". Sorry for all the technical jargon.
No bells rung except the far left...
but it's marked wrong. Need an H&R 22 LR cylinder for my brother-in-law. Also need to confirm if it's six or nine shot...
.22 cylinder ID help?
Looks like German "RG" single action 22 cylinders to me.
