Wyoming Arms, buy or not?

I have seen these before, usually in .45 or 10mm. I have the opportunity to pick one up on the cheap side in .40 S&W. Since they went under in 1992, I would think this is a fairly rare critter. What say y'all? I have a penchant for weird and cheap.

Nothing wrong with 'weird and cheap'

However, rarifried [SIC] and overpriced is more my speed, so I'd give Wyoming Arms the ol' THUMBS DOWN. [image]

Only if you don't intend to shoot it

They have a bad reputation for breaking. Funny, too, as they were offered with a lifetime warranty. I had a gunsmith friend who had a .45 NIB. He said the only way to keep it from breaking was to keep it that way. :)

I briefly owned a 10mm was UGLIEST auto I haver ever seen...
