Oakwood Apartments prohibits residents from posessing weapon
Just read a story on Yahoo which is merely a pointer to the story on The Blaze about an apartment complex in Castle Rock, Co. prohibiting residents from possessing firearms.
Here is the link to the news story:

I am not sure how this would even be legal.
The apartments are managed by Ross Management, but the owners, according to the Douglas County tax records

is the Douglas County Housing Partnership. Here is a link to a town council request for funding and if you scroll down it has their financials.

They take HUD money as well as county money. Can a municipality infringe on Constitutional Rights? Hope they get challenged on this one. Any lawyers know if this crap is legal?
HUD was sued and lost when they tried to usurp the civil
rights of it's occupants. I hope these jokers get punitive punishment for even THINKING of violating the Constitution & bill of rights in such a fashion.
