Hey Rob... ever heard of "Viking" leather?

Also marked "Hand Made in Mexico". Looks like a knock-off, but I must admit it has held up very well for a 40+ yr old holster that was constantly carried by a local store owner.

The gun is a 1969 2" S&W Mod 30-1 in 32 S&W Long.

Oh, yes, all over So Cal and the South West.

My dad carried his Llamma .22lr in a Viking brand soft black inside the waistband holster.

I see about 2/3'rds as many Vikings as I do Hunters

FWIW.

They seem to be about equal leather...which is to say 'passable' or as a buddy said about Indian beer, "You won't hate it!"

Weird. I just don't see them around here.

What surprised me was the longevity - not usually associated with knock-offs from Mexico.

Thanks guys,
