First an earthquake Saturday and now theres this wet stuff falling out of the sky. We really haven't had measurable rain at my house since late May.

I read a report that said the pheasant population was way down in western Kansas. Do you know anything about this...........seen any birds, etc ??

My group is debating heading out right now. Everything I've heard is bad. Between hail storms in the areas with moisture to the severe drought, it doesn't look good for ringnecks. Quail in my area are much improved over what they have been for the last few years. Chickens are barely hanging on anymore.

I'm headed to eastern Nebraska this friday to give it a go. If no birds, I do have a couple doe licenses.
