Since the post-Sandy Hook buying craze has hit, I have bought more firearms in a short period of time than I have for years. It seems like everyone at work wants to sell their "old" firearms in order to buy one of the soon-to-be-banned, overpriced firearms. And they are selling them at VERY good prices. They just come up to me and ask if I want to buy their old gun. I just ask them to state a price and usually it is low. Interestingly, all are handguns. No one has approached me to buy a rifle.

I have picked up a CZ-75 Compact with extra magazines, a Ruger target semi-auto .22LR, a Ruger GP-100 .357 Magnum, two matched Ruger new-model Vaquero's in .45LC, and a black powder 1858 Remington replica in the last 6 months.

No one has been selling ammunition, but I reload for everything I have. And cast bullets for most of them.

There are so many small minded people in my area who believe that anyone with a gun is a stick of dynamite, waiting for an excuse to go off. Having one gun might be okay, but if you have multiple guns, you're definitely a "nut".
