Recent talk of the "Munchkin Rifle" and an influx of
single-shot bolt-action .22 rimfires at work got me to thinking and then, when I go to the shop this morning what should I see? A Winchester Model 47. BEAUTIFUL condition and it followed me home. I suppose I will have to justify this by loaning it to the grandkids.

That's one I'd never seen. My kids were given...
a cut down Winchester 67 by Rich Hoch. It had an old Mossberg 4X15 scope on it and he did a number on the bolt to get it to work. It's no target gun, won't group worth sour apples but it's a great one shot one kill rifle - go figure. The old rifles are a hoot.
