OOF!!
I've been stalking this one for a few months now. I finally got it treed, and bagged it at the FW show this morning. It's a fine old re-nickeled Triple-Lock in .44spl with some excellent steerhead pearl grips, and a killer old holster by Moran Bros, the first saddlery in Miles City Mt. The holster may be worth as much as the gun. I'm thinking somewhere north of $2500, but south of $3000, but more research could lead to sunnier skies. With this one, I'm in no hurry.

OOF indeed!! What a sixgun, Jack!! (NM)

Yassir.
I feel very lucky and fortunate with this one. You just don't see rigs like this anymore outside of the rarified world of big-buck collectors, which I ain't. Check out the three distinct punch-dots on the butt. I have no idea what they are, but they aren't accidental. They might mean something to a smarter S&W guy than I am. Powell is never around anymore when I need him.
