If you don't have some good gun leather, here you go: upgrade to this Blue Black Ostrich hide over beef shoulder a CID Slide (named by Steve Sargent) and matching mag pouch. This will fit most 1911s and their derivatives. So, if you have a 1911 are right handed and don't already have some good gunleather, let me know.
More to come.
...and no, the gun and mag aren't included. rob@simplyrugged.com

WOW! That is beautiful. Would look good on my Les Bauer too. I have several of your holsters for revolvers, but none for 1911. I really like this rig.
You outta build one out of
Ostrich Ass and name that one after ME!
I can get some horse butt...

Rob, I already have good gun leather and can't imagine why I
should ever need an "upgrade" but, that there is a nice rig and I'd be proud to wrap my SR 1911 in it. If there is anyone else in line before or after, they get to go first.
You mean donkey butt, right?
Upgrade is right!
Beautiful leatherwork, Rob!

Rob, you may remember,
Last Christmas Alaska Marine Lines giving me a Ruger SR1911 in appreciation of 10 years service. I have been looking for a good holster for this rig off and on ever since. So if not already taken I'd love to try on one of yours. And weather I or another end up with it. It is a very good thing you do here. Thanks Dennis

You are certainly a good guy as well as an outstanding holster maker Rob.
I miss you too JohnK! Be sure and give my best to
that fine lady who lets you stay in her house. How is Jimmy doing? I am well. Still making trouble wherever it can be found.
I think I'd have to go with Swamp Donkey : )
.
Sweet looking rig!
Would make a nice compliment for a BBQ piece.
Certainly! Jimmy is doing well.
Raton's businesses are seriously hurting, tho.
Dennis, I DO remember, and a remember all the nice
things that you have done for me and others here.
Thank you.

Rob, nice of you to say so thanks. Now that I read entire thread I see Hoot is up in front of me and I can't think of a nicer guy for the fine leather to go to. Once again it is a fine thing you do here. Thanks for all you do. Dennis
Thank you for honorable mention on naming...
that holster. I appreciate your taking my suggestions to heart. Your friendship is treasured here and we look forward to seeing you again.
Dennis, thank you but...
I have a fair pile of Rob's leather and I put myself last in line. I think it is a fitting shuck for your anniversary pistol if it goes that way.
