One can also get a small folding solar panel to charge these or phones or battery packs from Goal Zero. We have been using there lights for 2 years on our -place and really like them. FWIW, my favorite for all-around use is probably the last one. The 'form factor' is darn near perfect, and it works like the proverbial charm.

In the All-Out Fun Category, the 12ZM is the hands-down winner. By far. It's pretty hard on batt'ries, but it'll light up the entire neighborhood in a *BLINK*.
