If not the Perfect Packin Pistol,
It is becoming one of my favorite guns to shoot.

Andy Cannon gun!
Nice sixgun Rob.
Andy did great work and was a helluva nice guy too. I had him rework a S&W model 19 and a model 57 for me. I still have them. Geez that was over 30 years ago!
Massad Ayoob and Andy came up with the Street L concept. Thanks for the memories!

I can see why. That front sight will
jerk your underwear up to your armpits. Might ought to look around for a good holster...
That might be true of people who WEAR skivvies, John!
;p
Very nice!

It probably just depends on where yer packin' it
For example, see Page 122 of Sixguns By Keith.
If it was good enough for old Jack McPhee of Fairbanks, Alaska, it'd be fine by me.
Besides, long barrels go better with snowshoes.
Cool gun!

If not the Perfect Packin Pistol,
Well no wonder, it is a 44 SPL what more could one want.
Had a 431 that was really fun to shoot with a good load, but heavy to carry!
If not the Perfect Packin Pistol,
Looks like a great gun and I like the longer tubes....
The rest of us would lose a pretty good-sized...
...chunk of meat!
That visual made me spit coffee on the laptop!
Thanks!
That is nice Rob.
Herrett's, I assume?
It's a M29-2 .44 magnum , with a M24 .44 spl barrel on it.
easy packing, more power. A 6.5" Mountain Gun, if you will
