Wagner shoots a .349" group @ 600 yds to set new world record.Old record was .699"
Now that's some kind of shooting even if it was from a bench. 6MM Dasher Cartridge.
:-D :-P :-P

How many shots?

I'm not all that up on long-range precision shooting standards and practices. Was that a three-shot group?

I can easily shoot a 1-shot group that tightly. (nm)

:-D

I can shoot a 5-shot group that looks smaller than that....

Put one shot through the paper, then put the next 4 into the dirt!

Five shot group.:-P

I've shot tighter groups than that...

at 100 yards... :-D

THAT'S good shootin' right there! He does need to move his crosshairs just a smidge to the left. ;-)

I've shot tighter groups than that...

by lee jurras @, hagerman,NM, Tuesday, May 14, 2013, 14:55 (4215 days ago) @ Paul

Well Paul, if he moved it 1 click it would move the group about 11/2" to the left.....:-)

I've shot tighter groups than that...

by Paul ⌂, Tuesday, May 14, 2013, 15:24 (4215 days ago) @ lee jurras

That's why I suggested "move the crosshairs a smidge" (kentucky windage) instead of "move it one click"... :)

That's some fine shooting, to say the least! I'd be happy as all getout with a group twice the size at half the distance!

I've shot tighter groups than that...

Paul, the smallest I;ve shot @100 yds was a .095" from a 308 I built for customer who was on the SWAT team at the Fed Prison in Terre Haute, IN. That's where they executed Tim Mc Vey:-P

Hokey smokes, that's some darn good shootin'....nm
